It is a necessary evil for many village hall committees to have to constantly think of ways to raise the funds necessary to keep their buildings open and serving their local community. Oxhill Village Hall is no different. It has running costs in the thousands every year and while the committee would dearly like to offer every event free of charge, it is simply unaffordable.

The strapline on our logo is 'for our community' and we mean it. We strive to keep prices down, we have diversified our events to interest and include as many locals as possible, and we bend over backwards to make sure that everyone is delighted with their experience of the hall and the various events we run in it.

What could you do to help? Lots of things!

Support our events by buying a ticket.

Subscribe to the 100 Club.

Start a club to encourage new users.

Donate a raffle prize.

Volunteer your professional time and expertise.

Donate a cake, a pudding, a curry, a pie, canapés, or pretty much anything delicious for an event.

Use the hall for your business meetings or parties.

Recommend the hall to potential hirers.

Offer to do a talk or run a workshop.

And, of course, make a donation.
