Oxhill Village Hall was originally built in 1876 as the village Board School. Costing £375 to construct, it educated local children until it closed following the Second World War. The building was subsequently repurposed to become the village hall. Since then it has become a key social hub for the local area offering everything from 1950's tea dances and bridge nights through to 2020's Beer & Bubbles, Progressive Suppers and Talks@OVH. Along the way it has also provided a safe, affordable space for dozens of clubs, societies, and private functions.
Oxhill Village Hall is a registered charity, number 1184770. Our Board of Trustees is the official name for our committee. All committee members are volunteers with different roles and responsibilities, foremost of which is working together to do the very best we can for our community.
