Have fun and get fit with Pickleball
Originally a children's game, pickleball has become popular with players of all ages. It's a fast-paced paddle sport that combines bits of tennis, badminton and ping-pong and is played with a solid paddle and a lightweight plastic ball. It can be enjoyed as singles or doubles, indoors or outdoors, and by people of all skill levels.
Oxhill's pickleball is played on Tuesday afternoons from 2.30-4.30pm at Newborough House, courtesy of Karen and Mike Perry. They let us use their indoor and outdoor courts for which we pay £3 a session. All of this goes into Oxhill Village Hall funds.
We take it turns to play with different partners - it’s slightly competitive but mostly a lot of fun. No experience necessary!
